In 1962, Plum Landing opened its door as a not for profit organization. Its garden apartments, then as now, provided a secure environment for active, mature adults who wanted to live independently. Every phase of planning for Plum Landing had as its goal provided facilities and services to make the "Golden years" truly golden. Plum Landing is proud of its reputation for being a true "community" where individualism is encouraged and respected.
