Located on beautiful Lake Winona in Alexandria, Bethany Community, which has served Alexandria and the surrounding area for almost a century, is comprised of three different on-site communities, all of which are linked - Winona Shores, Bethel Manors and Bethany Home.

Since its founding in 1948, the Knute Nelson organization has consistently lived its mission: providing a full continuum of services for older adults to enhance their quality of life. As a result, thousands of adults have enhanced their quality of life through programs such as assisted living at Nelson Gables (36 tenants), skilled nursing facility (164 residents), rehabilitation and short-term stay, home care and wellness.
