Hey guys, I am wondering what you think about apple's new iphone. It is going to cost about $500-600. I personally don't think the consumers are going to want to fork out that much cash just to combine their phone/PDA and their mp3 players. What do you think?

I personally don't think the consumers are going to want to fork out that much cash just to combine their phone/PDA and their mp3 players. What do you think? The apple iPhone G3 is $199 and I have seen persons who are blind purchase them and love there built in screen reader. There is some applications $.99 that turn this phone into a hand-held video magnifier that is much less than the ones in the market for $500 to $800. The iPhone is a computer and is introducing an ebook reader product soon and so it is getting better. Apple is smart as they developed an operating system for a computer and made it accessible for persons with disabilties and now they are running the same operating system on the iPhone. The iPhone may not be for many seniors today but I bet that grows. Blessings, Pat
