Hi, I am very interested in opening a home for the elderly. It would target elderly people in their 70-80s who are still able to function, but would like a nice place to live. I would probably house around fifteen people. Is this at all possible or realistic? What credentials would I need? Thank you very much Rosie

As far as I know, there are no credentials needed. but it's better if you have personal background in caregiving for the elderly. the facilities and the overall environment should also pass the health/ sanitation test conducted by some officials.

Yeah great idea, The old age care home is the need of this modern age. In this busy life every one has no time to serve their elders. the supported living homes provide all nursing and other facilities according to their need. So its good idea to open old age care home. aged care community
