I knew a lady that died in a retirement center, it was rather sudden and unexpected. I know that she was diabetic, there were other medical problems but I don't know them. She was having some problems with the staff. I just have a bad feeling and would like to know exactly why she died is there any way that I can get that info? She seemed fine, it just still bothers me.

Sorry, but HIPPA privacy laws forbid you to find out what happened to that woman. You'll never know, but it could be as simple as she had a heart attack or threw a blood clot. It happens to "healthy looking people" all the time.

That is really horrible - why is there no way to find that out. Probably there is not family left and there would be someone who cares about her - and her circumstances of death and she is not allowed to. That's not fair as far as I'm concerned.

I feel for you. But I think it's impossible to get access to the records of the patients inside the retirement center. Let's just pray for her soul.
