Newcare Residence
A retirement home differs from a nursing home primarily in the level of medical care given. Assisted living comes by many names, such as residential care, board and care, or group homes. A retirement home is a multi-residence housing facility intended for senior citizens. Each state licensing agency has its own definition of the term it uses to describe assisted living. Nursing Home residents include the elderly and younger adults with physical or mental disabilities. Some facilities provide minor help with medications as well. Staff is available twenty-four hours a day. Nursing Home residents in a skilled nursing facility may also receive physical, occupational, and other rehabilitative therapies following an accident or illness. Housing arrangements for the future can be a stressful, anxiety-provoking topic for you and your family.
