Kelly Assisted Living Svc
Each state licensing agency has its own definition of the term it uses to describe assisted living. Independent Living Communities enable residents to live as independently as possible, while providing certain services and social activities. Other licensure terms used for this philosophy of care include Residential Care Home, Assisted Care Living Facilities, and Personal Care Homes. Assisted living residences or assisted living facilities provide supervision or assistance with monitoring of resident activities to help to ensure their health, safety, and well-being. Staff is available twenty-four hours a day. A nursing home may be a good choice if both medical and personal care needs have become too great to handle at home. An assisted living facility may be a good choice if you need more personal care services than are feasible at home or in an independent living retirement community. The housing is friendlier to older adults, more compact, with easier navigation and assistance in outside maintenance. You have a close network of nearby family, friends, and neighbors.
