Pinewood Manor

PINEWOOD MANOR is located on the outskirts of town, but is still within the city limits. Upon approaching our community, one notices the beautiful landscaping with its small, wooded, park-like area and patio, where you may find residents leisurely visiting. The residents are what makes living here special. They have formed an association and have chosen many elective activities such as bible study, crafts, games, pot lucks, tenant council meetings, etc. The large community room is used for these activities. Meals-on-wheels provides a noon meal three times a week. Some residents volunteer their help with these projects. The apartments are very adequate. The bathrooms are equipped with showers and tubs with safety grab bars. All Kitchens have numerous cupboards and a stove with oven. Outside our nicely kept building and grounds one doesn’t have to travel far to get to banks, restaurants, doctors, hospitals, and shopping. Para-Transit will pick up residents at the front door and take them to their desired locations.
