St Paul Home
Nursing Home residents in a skilled nursing facility may also receive physical, occupational, and other rehabilitative therapies following an accident or illness. Retirement homes are also called retirement residences. Assistance may include the administration or supervision of medication, or personal care services provided by a trained staff person. An assisted living facility may be a good choice if you don’t need the round-the-clock medical care and supervision of a nursing home. A place in a retirement home can be paid for on a rental basis, like an apartment, or can be bought in perpetuity on the same basis as a condominium. A nursing home is normally the highest level of care for older adults outside of a hospital. Retirement homes are also called retirement residences. Retirement villages and retirement communities, unlike retirement homes, offer separate and autonomous homes for residents. Some facilities provide minor help with medications as well.
