Beatrice Good Samaritan Center
We are implementing the "neighborhood" concept on our campus. This concept is based on providing more choice and independence to the residents living in our centers. Care is based on the individual's needs and desires, rather than on the facility routine. Residents are encouraged to personalize their living spaces with whatever belongings they desire, and to voice and be provided the opportunity to determine their activities each day.
- Angel's Landing is a 16 bed special care "neighborhood" focusing on providing specialized care for residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disorders.
- Respite (short-term care) and Adult Day Care is offered for those with special needs and allows time away for the at-home care giver.
- Short-Term recovery is also offered with contracted Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services provided as necessary at the facility.
- Accommodations are available for the developmentally disabled and those with dialysis needs.
Our facility offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. We also provide transportation to area appointments locally and as far as Omaha.
The business office of Beatrice and Wymore consolidated on January 1, 2004, providing centralized services to the centers.
A Director of Dietary and Wellness is on staff for the campus and directs the Wellness Program which emphasizes resident and staff health.
The Good Samaritan motto "In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone" is seen in the relationships cultivated amongst our residents, staff, volunteers and community.
We Are Good Samaritan Communities..."Caring and Sharing Together."
