Wells House
Senior Housing - find independent and assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement communities, and other elderly care. Nursing Home residents include the elderly and younger adults with physical or mental disabilities. Other licensure terms used for this philosophy of care include Residential Care Home, Assisted Care Living Facilities, and Personal Care Homes. Nursing Home residents in a skilled nursing facility may also receive physical, occupational, and other rehabilitative therapies following an accident or illness. Assistance may include the administration or supervision of medication, or personal care services provided by a trained staff person. A retirement home is a multi-residence housing facility intended for senior citizens. More than two-thirds of the states use the licensure term assisted living. The usual retirement home pattern is that each person or couple in the home has an apartment-style room or suite of rooms. An assisted living facility may be a good choice if you need more personal care services than are feasible at home or in an independent living retirement community.
