The Friends Home offers warmth and attention to the individual that is impossible to achieve in a larger facility.  Services such as personal escort to appointments, allow residents to be accompanied to the doctor and other appointments.  This small group of residents all living together as a supportive "family" instills a caring about one another, not always possible in a larger, more institutional setting.
