Hutchinson Good Samaritan Village

The senior housing choices include The Villas and The Cottages, which are one and two-bedroom apartments. The Villas offer a cheery clubhouse where residents can have card parties, entertain friends and enjoy noon meals every day. Maintenance, 24-hour medical monitoring and housekeeping are also provided to the Villa residents. Cottage residents have 24 hour emergency call lights that are connected to the Facility. The residents also have peace of mind knowing their maintenance needs will be provided.

The Lodge is the newest addition to our campus and is our assisted living facility. Residents share three meals a day together in a beautifully decorated dining room. A private dining room is available for the residents to use for special activities or family gatherings. The living room is complete with a big screen television and fire place. Transportation is provided to appointments and also to various stores in the area.

Temporary or permanent health care is available in our 90-bed skilled nursing facility. Our health-care facility offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. Devotions are led by area pastors of different faiths and are held daily. All of our residents have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as table top bowling, horse race game, and bingo, just to name a few. Or, they may enjoy strolling through the Prayer Garden or taking a van ride to various events in the community. Our residents can choose to go out for lunch once a month during the spring, summer and fall.

Our campus is blessed to have numerous volunteers to assist with activities, special outings, and programs.

Our Center offers giving opportunities in the form of endowments and gift annuities. The focus for the 2004/2005 fund raising campaign is an activity van, which will cost approximately $50,000.00.

Our mission at Hutchinson Good Samaritan Village is to share God’s love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that “In Christ’s love, Everyone is Someone.” Our caring, friendly staff members strive to do their best to make this Good Samaritan center feel like home to all the residents.
