Golden Abbey Rest Home
Retirement homes are privately owned rental accommodations for seniors who are able to manage and pay for their own care. A nursing home is a place of residence for people who require constant nursing care and have significant deficiencies with activities of daily living. Assisted living comes by many names, such as residential care, board and care, or group homes. Generally, retirement homes are designed for seniors who need minimal to moderate support with their daily living activities. Staff is available twenty-four hours a day. The housing is friendlier to older adults, more compact, with easier navigation and assistance in outside maintenance. Retirement villages and retirement communities, unlike retirement homes, offer separate and autonomous homes for residents. You do not need to provide medical evidence that you need a minimum level of care. Nursing Home residents in a skilled nursing facility may also receive physical, occupational, and other rehabilitative therapies following an accident or illness.
