Manoir Rose-Alyne
Assisted living comes by many names, such as residential care, board and care, or group homes. A nursing home is normally the highest level of care for older adults outside of a hospital. Assisted living is a philosophy of care and services promoting independence and dignity. Generally, retirement homes are designed for seniors who need minimal to moderate support with their daily living activities. A place in a retirement home can be paid for on a rental basis, like an apartment, or can be bought in perpetuity on the same basis as a condominium. An assisted living facility may be a good choice if you don’t need the round-the-clock medical care and supervision of a nursing home. The housing is friendlier to older adults, more compact, with easier navigation and assistance in outside maintenance. A retirement home is a multi-residence housing facility intended for senior citizens.
