We moved my Mom here in 2012. She was cared for very well in the independent living area. After several months it was clear that she needed much more care as her Alzheimer's got progressively worse and she was unable to care for herself. We were fortunate that a suite became available in the secure wing at Summerwood just when she was approved for the additional health care. Since moving her physical health has improved considerably and she is a much happier person. She has daily supervision and the staff treat her very well.
